New Egypt, NJ (April 2) -- The long-awaited New Egypt Speedway website is now in service! Log on to www.newegyptspeedway.net and catch the latest!

The racetrack's official website, designed by Chuck Lamb Visual Communication of Havertown, PA, and maintained by webmaster Ryan Mich, was launched on Friday, April 2, a day prior to the speedway's 2004 season opener.

"It's been a long time coming, but good things do take time," said Buffy Swanson, the track's public relations director. "The site is beautifully designed, easy to load and navigate, and we're sure race fans will find everything they want to know about New Egypt Speedway -- and more."

The highlight of the site is the interactive "Friends & Family" page, where fans can sign up to join the speedway's free, exclusive email news service. Once they register, "Friends & Family" members will be the first to receive the latest track news, updates and driver standings, sent directly to their email boxes. News of special promotions and bonus offers will also be included in "Friends & Family" emailings.

In addition to the latest news stories, the site also includes a "Track Info" page, with a brief history of the speedway, track seating diagram, driving directions (including a printer-friendly version), and an up-to-the-minute local weather link. The "Driver Standings" page lists all the point standings and track champions, plus a downloadable pdf version of the rulebook and a link to MyLaps.com, where drivers can log on for the latest scoring and timing results.

For the junior fan, "Kids' Club News" offers the latest edition of the Ralphie the Racer newsletter, outlining the weekly Kids' Club activities at the speedway for children 10 and under. There's also a photo gallery, a schedule page with links to the latest results stories, sponsor links, and a "Contact Us" page that lists all phone numbers with links to email addresses for track personnel and vendors.
